This Rigol 1052E oscilloscope is so good that I'm thinking of donating (or just recycling) the three old analog scopes that I now own.The Rigol is light and portable, and for the price, it is truly amazing. For a digital scope to perform well, its sampling frequency should be at least 8 times that of the highest significant frequency component present in the waveform under test. With a 1 GHz sampling speed, this scope covers the advertised 50 MHz input bandwidth with room to spare. It takes a little practice to use it to best advantage, especially if you're used to traditional analog scopes. But it does a whole lot more because of its storage and math computation capabilities. There's no way to cover it all in this short space.
