Money is a distant second to quality, power, control, etc. I bought this to replace the Makita grinder that broke after only 20 years of commercial use (joke). I was going to get the same model, but decided to upgrade to this one. The soft start and variable speed were a big improvement. Much more control. This one has more power too so it doesn't bog down. Excellent device! I have large glove sized hands and the barrel grip was fine for me.
