Drain one on an all day project and you have another one in reserve. It has 32 torque settings so you can micromanage the power needed for whatever project you're working on. I discovered this the hard way. I was attaching flashing to a shed I was renovating. I had the drill set to full torque power and the screw went through the flashing and embedded in the wooden side of the shed! With the hammer drill setting you can drill into concrete or brick to your heart's delight. It has two speed settings and a keyless chuck made out of steel. The only drawback I can think of is that after you've drained the power in one of the batteries it will be hot. You have to wait an hour or two for it to cool before you can recharge it. This has not been a problem for me because with two fully charged batteries you can work for hours and hours.
