Buying cheap Porter-Cable 7346SP 6-Inch Random Orbit Sander with Polishing Pad Didn't Work For MeBy GoldrushJust received it, checked it all out, read the material, then turned it on. It's very loud, which is OK, but highly recommend wearing hearing protection. The problem with my unit is that it rattled when turned on, not a good sign, and I didn't want it to be my problem, so back it went. Before returning, I tried to contact Porter Cable Customer Service on Tuesday, 3pm Pacific Time, but they were closed for the day. Checked out their WEB site as the recording suggested, but not much help there either. Instead of replacing the unit, I ordered the Bosch sander for about $15 more, and it comes with hook and loop.
