I was having a hard time drilling screws into some hard wood. So a buddy of mine lent me his Dewalt impact driver. I was amazed at how easy the screws went in and I didn't have to apply much pressure. I was always struggling by pushing on the back of the drill which always led to stripping the screw head. These problems are non existent with an impact driver. I was so impressed I decided I had to get one for myself. After a lot of research and decided on the Bosch 26618-01. I went with Bosch for several reasons. One being their reputation and how great my other Bosch tools have performed. Two, all the reviews I have read are excellent and no other impact driver comes close in specs (1500 in lbs torque). If that wasn't enough to sway me it also has 3 led lights AND 3 modes of operation. This impact driver will essentially replace my old drill as well.
